Remember the first time you heard Stuck On Repeat? That amazing bassline and sleigh bells that built up into a six minute belter of a disco track. Remember when they re-recorded it and cut it down to 3 minutes on the album? Yeah, I was gutted too. But since they’re offering a ‘radio edit’ of Shake on Soundcloud as well I’m hoping this means that won’t be the case with record 2. Anyway, the point is that Shake has that same spine-tinglingly good opening and builds into the sort of track I’ve always felt like Hot Chip have never quite managed. Kudos to Victoria, kudos to The Knocks, now let’s fucking shake.
